Sweetie ,let’s begin today’s story. First ,look at the cover. What can you see ? I can see a big yellow dog, with a ball in his mouth. Yes ,It’s Floppy. Moreover , we can see some hands in front of the dog’s. Count it, one ,two ,three, there are three hands. What do they mean? We now still have any idea, but i think they try to say “no”to Floppy. Let’s turn to first page.

Page 1, in the picture, we can see Kipper sitting on the floor, and he is drawing a picture with crayons. Floppy stretch his paw, put it on the table ,try to ask the boy to play a ball together. But , Kipper refuses.just like he is very busy. He raises his hand to the dog, says “go away , Floppy”.  So, i think Floppy is unhappy at this time.

Page 2-3, now, we can see four kids are playing on a playground. They seem very happy. and do you know what are they playing? Yes , they are skipping. Floppy is eager to join them , lean(前伏) his body forward. Unlucky, everybody say: “go away , Floppy”. The dog is refused again.

Page 4-5, at this moment, Floppy comes up to the parents. But , it seems daddy and mommy are very busy now. They are using brushes to paint the wall. No doubt they will say “go away , Floppy”.  Actually , the dog receives rejections(拒绝) three times today.  As you can imagine, now he is very upset.

Page 6-7, it’s easy to see, Floppy is very sad. He throws his ball on the grass and go away(孩子要引导小孩看地上的球和狗的动作与神态). Because nobody wants to play with him. Now,everyone realizes the problem. They look at the back of the dog, feel very sorry, say “come back, Floppy”. Let’s turn to last page to see the end.

Page 8, the kids and parents stay together with Floppy now, they say “we are sorry”. They now prepare some gifts for the dog. Chip give a big bone to Floppy, Chip show the dog a bunny, and Biff prepare a rope. It seems that they want to play with the dog. It is a happy ending.
